Windsurfing
Windsurfing ties with mountain biking as my favourite sport, and has done since learning to water-start in about 1995. Unfortunately I have mostly windsurfed in dreamland for the last few years: Only the most dedicated (or selfish) windsurfers rock up to the shore in a force 7 with their gear on the roof and their kids in the back. Again ... I hope to get back to it sometime in the future since the thrill of planing at the edge of control in a howling gale is difficult to beat (and carve-gybing is tantalisingly close).
